About.

Born on February 17, 1992 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, is known professionally as Gunner Scott.  He is one of four boys and was raised in Friendship, Wisconsin. Gunner joined the United States Marine Corps upon graduating from high school at the ripe age of 18.  It was the tragic event of losing his closest friend PFC Ryan Larson who was killed in Afghanistan on June 15, 2011 and the promise made to Ryan to pursue music that led Gunner to pick up a guitar and began to teach himself two years later.  After serving for four years as a USMC Scout Sniper and completing one tour in Afghanistan, he departed from the Marine Corps and began writing songs dedicating himself to pursuing a music career.

Gunner writes his own songs drawing from his life experiences. As he says, “I tell my life through chords and words”.  His musical influences are Brantley Gilbert, Eric Church, and Brian Davis.  His songs range from country rock to soft ballads.

To unwind, Gunner enjoys fishing, and hunting.
